In August 2014, MPE participated in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. Each office prepared their own challenge video and then staff members “took the plunge” under buckets of Icy Water. Overall, the global Ice Bucket Challenge increased the association’s typical fundraising ten-fold and is helping to expedite research into the debilitating Lou Gehrig’s disease. Company-wide, MPE raised $3,000 and helped raise awareness of ALS through our efforts.
