• Position: WATER/WASTEWATER DESIGN DRAFTER

The Calgary office is recruiting a Water and Wastewater Design Drafter to play a key role in supporting the Water/Wastewater Process Team on a wide range of municipal Multi-Discipline Projects. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to meaningful design work, build technical drafting expertise, and collaborate closely with experienced engineers and technologists.

Responsibilities

• Develop designs and produce drawings for water and wastewater treatment plants, water and wastewater pump stations, and general municipal infrastructure.
• Prepare drawings in AutoCAD and/or Plant 3D for accurate 2D and 3D design drawings.
• Utilize general knowledge of multi-discipline projects that involve civil, structural, architectural, process mechanical, HVAC, electrical and instrumentation disciplines.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years’ experience.
• Proficient in 3D modelling, utilizing Revit and AutoCAD Plant 3D.
• Experience in process design drafting for water and/or wastewater treatment facilities.
• Registration with ASET.
• E.T. designation would be an asset.
• Self-motivated, reliable, strong work ethic, natural enthusiasm.
• Communicate effectively and lead a high-performing, multi-disciplinary team through design and contract administration.
